Women's Services Coordinator

Temporary contract

£26,512 per annum, pro-rata - dependent on skills/experience

Are you someone who cares deeply about people, is highly personable and has a flare for organising, running events and working with large groups of people? Do you enjoy talking to people from all over the world and care passionately about refugee, asylum seeker and women's issues in the UK? We are looking for a new Women's Service Coordinator to join our team and that could be you.

The Refugee Resource Women’s Project has proved a very effective means of achieving collective benefits enabling members to overcome difficulties, to support and learn from each other, to develop skills and improve their confidence, and generally to fulfil their potential to become more fully integrated members of their communities.

Refugee women are very much affected by their experience of war, torture, displacement and in some cases rape. The Women’s Project has been providing support, guidance and opportunities for those women to overcome mental distress and the after effects of traumatic experiences.

The different activities, such as trainings, workshops, English classes, health activities and trips, provide opportunity and encouragement for the women, empowering them to address issues that affect their lives.  The group is also a source fun and relaxation.

The deadline for applications is midnight on the 14th of April.  Please send your completed application forms to
